October is done and we are starting to move into the Christmas season. In my experience, November does better with Amazon than previous months and December is a windfall with Amazon. So my expectation is we should see higher earnings with Amazon this month (November) and a windfall of earnings in December. I’ve also seen an uptick of Media.net as well, earning more towards Christmas season. In the past with Adsense, this wasn’t usually the case.
Anyways, it’s been a great month and I broke some new records!
October Affiliate Earnings
Not much to discuss here. Again, I have not focused on promoting any single affiliate offer. I have one I’m looking into for one of my sites, but I just need to find the time to get it set up.

October Affiliate Earnings: $357.66
October Disqus Ad Earnings
Shitty shitty shitty. I’m discontinuing these. I was going to last month, but I haven’t gotten around to it. I’m not even going to bother posting the disqus earning images.
October Disqus Earnings: $31.02
October Direct Advertising Earnings
This month was a pretty decent one. Last month showed a bit of money ($1000 about) due to a bi-monthly payment that came in. However, this month, I sold a number of ad spots for November, December, and January. I have STOPPED offing my personal service option which I was selling for $400 — it was just too time intensive. So I throw some money away (maybe 400, 800, or even 1200) because of this. Either way though, it was a good month for selling direct ad space for my sites. Since I’ve sold out most of my ad spots for November and December, (and parts of January), this may lower my reported income over next couple months here since I won’t have very many spots available to sell.

Note, some of these payments were in CAD. I converted to USD when totaling.
October Direct Advertising Earnings: $1,945.59 (USD)
October Adsense Earnings
Adsense has been a pretty consistent source of income for me since I got my new account back in June (4 months ago). However, I am unable to cash out the earnings because I have not been able to verify my home address. When you sign up for a new adsense account, they email you a pin card to that address, which takes like 2 to 6 weeks. Well, the first time I did it back in June, I used an invalid address. 2 months later the pin never came. So I requested a new one and 2 months later still no pin. This means my earnings are being ‘held’ by adsense until I verify the address. And because it’s been 4 months with no verification, as of the end of October, they stopped showing ads on my sites. So this means NO more adsense earnings until I can verify that address…which may take another month if there are no issues. So there won’t be any earnings to report next month for Adsense.

October Adsense Earnings: $461.45 USD
October Media.net Earnings
Another great month, we even more earned than the previous month. This is in part due to some the click values going up slightly (maybe because we are moving into the shopping season?) and the fact that one of my sites started to pull in 30-40 percent more traffic, bumping up media.net earnings by 20 or so bucks a day!
My best month ever and $88 dollars short of a solid $7000 USD! Media.net has blown my socks off and is better than Adsense in every way for me. I’ve tested Media.net against Adsense on one of my sites, and Media.net earns more. However, in many cases, you can combined Media.net and Adsense together on the same site to earn even more, which is what I’ve been doing.
So I’m loving Media.net (read my Media.net review) and if you haven’t started using it, make sure you do. It’s the best alternative to Adsense, and in many cases, even better than Adsense.
October Media.net Earnings: $6,912.41
October Amazon Earnings
Oh man, my best month ever. Crazy good earnings and, I’m expecting November to be higher and December, with the Christmas rush, to be a windfall (if things hold, December earnings for Amazon may in fact be DOUBLE). November is having Amazon throwing a promotion where their Native Amazon Ads give a flat 12% instead of the scaling 4-8.5 percent. Since I use these ads on all my sites, I expect this will bring an increase in Amazon earnings this month (November). I’m also in the process of making a lot of new Amazon-targeted content over the first 2 weeks of November, so that contant can rank and start killing it for December to really bring in the bacon.
Amazon is earning more than I ever though it would and if you look at my past earning reports, the earnings are only improving each month!
Proof of Amazon Earnings
So there you go, I’ve officially made more than $10,000 USD a month with Amazon associates. If we count straight affiliate earnings, then it’s $9,473, but with the Amazon bounties it brings it just about to 10,000 and with the Amazon CPM ads a total of $10,368, over $2,000 USD MORE than I made last month with Amazon. So far, every month has been more and more!
But you know what? This is just the start. I fully intend to double or triple this over the next year. I want to be making 20,000 to 30,000 USD a month from Amazon. And I see a path to do so:
adding a LOT more targeted product content to one of my authority sites
creating 2-3 more niche-focused amazon sites (currently in the process of creating these)
expanding a couple existing sites for more amazon content and amazon links
So, I expect very good things in the next 6 months with my Amazon.
Direct Advertising income: $1945.59(vs $1300in August)
Adsense Earnings:$461.45(vs $393 in July)
Media.Net Ad Income: $6912.41(vs $6326in August)
Amazon Affiliate Income: $10,368.41 (vs $8,254 in August)
Total Online Earnings for October
(vs $16,579 in September)
(vs $15,043 in August)
(vs 14,298.79 in July)
(vs $12,226 in June)
(vs $14,498 in May)
(vs. 9,438.7 in April)
The Final Word
This is the first time I’ve breached $20,000 USD a month…ever. The most I every made in one month was about 17,000 or so back in early 2011. But that was an exceptional month, and most months back in the heydays of the mini-site craze (2010-2011), I averaged about $12,000 with some months $13k. A very good month would have been 15,000 (only had a few of those). But as stated, I had built a foundation on sand. All it took was a single update and Google to close a few loopholes and I lost everything.
Now, all my earnings come from a handful of solid, well established authority sites that offer a lot of value. No sketchy links, link farms, or any of that shit. Just awesome content, lots of it, and great websites.
With $20,000 made this month, I’m elated!
When I first started my income reports back in April, I was around $8,000 or $9000. At the beginning of 2016, my earnings were around $6000 to $7000 (my amazon at that time was just a bit over $2200 or so, my media.net was only about $2500-$3000 and the rest came from ad sales. So I’ve see massive improvements in just under a year. At my low point, back in September 2013, I was only pulling in about $2000 a month in total.
So let’s look forward to a better month for November and a crazy month in December. I’ve got a lot of new projects on the go (2-3 amazon niche authority sites I’m starting, adding more content to some existing authority sites to increase amazon), finishing off a kindle book for sale, and the launch of my own product, sold both via a website and FBA (it’s taken 6-7 months to get the product developed and sourced). So GREAT things coming up.
Keep working hard guys, don’t give up, and give it your all. There’s plenty of money to be made if you work hard, and smart. I hope through my income reports and my tutorials, you guys find inspiration and start to make your own way!
